FACIAL ALPHABETIC CHARACTERS
We are going to begin our study of written sign language by learning, by heart, a group of alphabetic characters and their place in the body, for easy understanding and use.
These 10 facial alphabetic characters constitute the second base of the sign writing, being the handshape (manual alphabet) first.
You will notice that, although there are 10 alphabetic characters, the change of orientation allows you to specify different places on the face, this distinction is essential to be able to describe the signs in writing.
Getting acquainted with the following alphabetic characters and facial placement will not be difficult. On the contrary, it will be very easy if you pay attention to the following drawing.
